This year’s Spring Showcase of Homes took a different turn than usual with the first annual judging competition highlighting the area’s most talented builders. The Las Cruces Home Builders Association selected prominent building and community members to visit homes in three different price levels, including entry level, mid level and upper level while rating curb appeal, kitchen, interior, bathroom and overall home in the price category. A very difficult job in the midst of many talented builders and amazing homes.
Copper Ridge Builders walked away with awards for two different homes, one
for Best Bathroom at the entry level and Best Curb Appeal at the upper level.
Newcomers Shane Elliot and Bryan Bagwell of Riata Builders walked away with an award for Best Bathroom at the mid level.
The Coventry Homes kitchen tied for Best Kitchen at the mid level.
G.L. Green and Associates received awards for Best Curb Appeal, Kitchen, Interior and Home in price category for the entry level and Best Kitchen, Bathroom, Interior and Home in price category for the upper level.
The Robinson Homes kitchen tied for Best Kitchen at the mid level.
Planet Development received an award for Best Interior at the mid level for their home, built in collaboration with Fred and Rebecca Mobley.
