Kohler, one of the leading names in luxury bathroom fixtures, offers a variety of configurations, products and overall design themes to take into account any need in any bathroom.
The Kohler DTV is a jumping-off point for a customized shower experience and combines water, sound, lights and steam together in an advanced digital platform that can serve an entire family. The DTV Digital Interface (Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery, $987) offers users the ability to customize their showers down to the music being played, color of the lights in the showering area or how much steam to allow into the shower. Preset buttons also allow users to recreate their most memorable shower experiences.
Just beyond the DTV screen is the most expensive of the shower parts, the DTV Six-Port Thermostatic Valve ($1,103), which connects up to six water outlets and controls the temperature of your shower, while operating at 21 gallons of water per minute.
A showerhead for one of these custom showers may not be the main key to the equation, but is nothing short of spectacular. The Symbol Multifunction Showerhead with Arm and Flange ($203 and up) has three settings for the best-possible stream of water, including the wide, warm coverage spray, soothing aerated spray and the revitalizing massage spray. This showerhead is made of the MasterClean material, which resists hard water and mineral buildup over time. If a static, immovable showerhead is not for you, Kohler offers the Symbol Handshower ($132 and up), which allows for free movement while you are showering and a four-function spray engine. The spray head pivots for a targeted hydro massage.
A simple showerhead isn’t enough to make a shower really spectacular…the WaterTile 54-Nozzle Bodyspray ($137 and up), however, is. Combined with the thermostatic valve, up to five spray nozzles can be placed in any shower, from any direction. The nozzle can be placed anywhere in a shower and can be pivoted to go any direction, while its “low-profile” design allows for any décor.
If you don’t prefer the look and feel of the WaterTile design, Kohler also offers bodyspray products like the Master Shower Three-Way Bodyspray ($131.45 and up), which offers bathers a truly unique all-over body massage experience, with three water flow options to choose from.
For a truly one-of-a-kind experience, homeowners can opt for that little extra something in the form of a steam generator. Start with the 11-kW Steam Generator for Custom Application ($1,949 and up), combined with the Steam Generator Control Kit ($446), can help turn a normal shower into a near spa-like experience. The steam control allows for temperature change, a digital clock and pre-settings.
But to truly make your “insane” shower all your own, make sure to customize it to your needs and wants. Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery can offer you a variety of ideas for your own custom shower, including Kohler products and much, much more. |
