Enchantment Custom Builders, owned and operated by Dan & April Casanova, has been in operation since June 1997. Dan's first interest in contruction was when he acquired his first job at Woodward Lumber Co., at the age of fourteen. After gaining experience and knowledge at Woodward Lumber Co., Dan knew he wanted to some day build custom homes. Dan worked for numerous homebuilders within the Las Cruces area before he decided to study for his GB98 licensure. While working for Las Cruces TV Cable, he studied for his GB98 and worked fulltime. At LCTV he gained customer service skills, which has been a great tool. His experiences in the construction field range from cabinet building, framing, trim, concrete, etc., basically all aspects that pertain to the responsibilities of building a custom home from the ground up. We feel positive that all his hands on experience have had a large part in the success of our business. We started our business with trim carpentry and remodeling as our main focus, which helped us work our way into custom home building.
Dan's wife, April is very active in the business, she assists with the design, decor, and bookkeeping. We work hand in hand together when making all business decisions. We feel a husband and wife team has been very beneficial and rewarding. We pride ourselves on our love for what we do, CUSTOM HOME BUILDING & CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
Both natives of Las Cruces for over forty years, Dan and April chose to stay here and raise their children, Amber, 18, and Summer, 13. We enjoy building in Las Cruces, the climate allows us to build all year round, and the friendly atmosphere is what has kept us in the Land of Enchantment.
