Westside Lighting Gallery, a family-owned business that began 20 years ago has evolved into a perfect place to find any lamp shade that best suits your style. The gallery works with a variety of brands to offer their customers a wide selection of shades. Westside Lighting Gallery offers both silk shades and hard shades. The difference is in the material used in the lamp shade. The silk shades are made from material on both the interior and exterior of the shade. The hard shades are made from a plastic material within the interior of the shade leaving the linen or silk material just for the exterior.
Shirley Gschwind, who owns Westside Lighting Gallery, really tries to accommodate the customer by providing light bulbs not normally or easily found in other major stores. Some of the Gallery’s other services include lamp repair; custom built lamps; some wall lamps and custom-made chandeliers. Shirley can and has created a beautiful and unique lamp using a golf bag, a vase, a sewing machine, a trophy or even a gumball machine. Westside Lighting Gallery services Southern New Mexico and West Texas, commercial or independent customers.
